Always a great time at Molly's. Had the lamb sliders and the crab sliders recently. Scotch egg as an appetizer and a brownie with ice cream for dessert. The only reason this is a 4 and not a 5 was because the crab sliders we're just a bit too salty and we tried the Watermelon Moonshine cocktail which left a bad taste in our mouths. Other than though excellent food and excellent service.
Usually go there once or twice a week. Have had many joyous family celebrations in their back room over the past 10 years. Damien is always so kind to accommodate us. Thank you Molly's for the wonderful memories over the past 10 years!
Out if town experience. I walked in quite out of sorts having a very horrible day, sat down at the bar and Nick was very quick to get me some drinks. Not being at my best, he was very patient helping me pick a beer and some burbon. Both are excellent but honestly are a second to the service.....some of the best service I have received at a bar in years. I have opted for the burger as it is their special today and quite frankly any food would probably suffice at this point but it is actually very good as well. I will be sure to visit this place next time I am here. Big thanks to Nick for helping me get the bad taste of the day out of my mouth.
We were overall disappointed in this place. The food was mediocre, I was served avocados with my burger that were hard as a rock - not at all ripe, but otherwise the burger was OK, and the sweet potato fries decent. My husband ordered a sandwich and fries with added cheese and gravy (charged extra for) - when we were served the sandwich was cold (supposed to be a warm sandwich) and the fries were plain. She apologized and immediately brought out a cup of cheese - which we both felt could've been handled better (it's nice to have your cheese kinda melt on your fries) and the gravy wasn't brought out until we were finished eating everything else. The meat pies were also mediocre - a disappointment after reading some reviews here. She also never asked if we needed a high chair for our son (1 year old), my husband had to go get it. I would definitely rate the service poor, the food mediocre, but the saving grace was the ambiance! There was a cool blues band playing and they were very friendly and played well. Also happy that it was child friendly (something we were looking for) - there was another little one toddling around. We probably won't be back here.
Authentic Scottish fare, full bar with a wide variety of beers. Refreshing music Surprised by the great salads! The steak salad is tender and tasty. Friendly atmosphere and excellent beer pretzel dip!!!
