This was our first time coming to Savannah 's. The hotel manager Douglas Perry was amazing. From the initial check in to the check out everything was so smooth and easy. He worked to accommodate us in all of our needs. The way that he work to keep this hotel going IHG should be honored to have him as part of the staff because I could really tell that he is really passionate about his job and he cares. I have been in customer service for 13 years and I can honestly say that the way Douglas and his staff treated us was by far the best that I have received in the hotel industry. I would like to thank you Douglas for making this trip an amazing experience and if we are ever in Savannah again we will indeed come back here.
The room was nice, and clean. It was all good till the day we were leaving. Check out is at 11am, we had a noon check out though... the house keepers walked in on us twice! Once at 10, again at 11:30. No knock, no announcement, just walked right in the room.
My first room initially smelled horribly of urine, the front desk happily changed my room. This hotel seems like it needs better ventilation to get fresh air, otherwise the rooms get locked up and start to stink. The servers and front desk were very kind. Average breakfast per any holiday inn. Nice pool. Not the greatest, but not the worst. If you are in a pinch go for it.
Holiday Inn is a great hotel to stay at on the road. The room was nice, clean and modernly furnished. They also provided a nice hot breakfast and solid WiFi service. Juleen at the front desk was very nice and courteous. On my way to checkout, she greeted me with a pretty smile and asked about my stay. Great place to stop for the night!
