Absolutely awesome. I discovered this place while returning home from Disney World. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. You can't beat the price. My entire family loved it including my brother and sister-in-law from Waltherville, GA who were meeting us for dinner. My brother and I will definitely be back and I highly recommend to everyone to stop in and enjoy the delicious food and desserts.
This is a great little place. First off, friendly staff. Second, nice homey atmosphere. Looks like it used to be someone's house, and if it wasn't, they did a good job faking it. Third, lots of good food. Buffet-style eating, not too many choices, but lots of variety and all delicious (including a salad bar area and many good desserts. Fourth, excellent price. I remember being surprised that it did not cost an arm and a leg. Fifth, didn't mind our children and seemed sympathetic to them being a bit energetic. Sixth, clean restrooms, can't beat that. I would come back to this place once a week if I lived in the area. Two thumbs up! Oh, and a swinging bench out front to boot!
Food was fresh and tasty. We came across the restaurant via yelp while traveling through GA. Country home style southern cooking with a friendly staff. There was 4 of us (3 adults and a teenager). We all enjoyed. Food was great. Desserts were not that good but fried chicken, ribs, greens, green beans, Mac & cheese, rice etc... Were cooked to perfection.
We took our soccer team here for dinner after a game. They were very accommodating and set us up so we could all sit together. The food is buffet style which included friend chicken, popcorn shrimp, turnip greens, green beans, Mac and cheese and lots of other southern favorites along with a decent salad bar. They also had a very good desert table. We paid $29 for me, my wife and 15 yr old son. They do not serve alcohol.
Don't eat for a week before going here! Probably one of the best home cooked southern restaurants I've ever tried. Mac and cheese is the best I've had. Everything is exceptional.
