We love it, we have Met life dental,no problems!! The staff, hygienists are all amazing!!!! Dr. Highsmith does amazing work for myself & my daughter! !!!
I think Dr. Highsmith is a great dentist from the one visit I went to. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. Her husband needs to learn how to deal with people. I had switched jobs and did not know that my insurance from my other job cancelled on the first. My appointment was on the 6th which should be proof enough that I did not know. Who pays for insurance for an entire and then decides to go after it cancels. That alone shows and proved his lack of intelligence. Anyway, he called me threatening me with pressing charges and saying I knew the insurance was not any good. I made a 300 dollar payment over the phone after listening to him tell me what a terrible person I am. Then my son went to make another payment for this Friday and the office was closed. Mr. Highsmith should not be running his wife's office. She could do just fine probably better without him.
I too had problems with Dr. Highsmith's husband. I went in with Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance. He said I had great insurance, and it would be no cost to me. No problem. I had a more indepth teeth cleaning done. I needed some fillings, but was informed by Dr. Highsmith that she doesn't give fillings. Really? Ok, well, on to the cleaning. Everything was said and done in two procedures. I think everything is paid for thru the insurance. Then I get a whopping bill in the mail for over $1000. I received a nasty letter in the mail stating it was my responsiblity to pay immediately the entire bill in full. I don't have a problem paying my bills, but I have a problem with rudeness and unprofessionalism. Tell me in advance i may have to pay something, and I will make sure I have the money together and pay you. But because of his nasty attitude, I decided to make monthly payments to him in small incraments. Take it or leave it. Every month he wrote me a nasty letter. And every month I paid him "something". So, Dr. Highsmith, your a great person, but your husband has no personality to be dealing with customers. I wont tolerate such behavior and will also spread the word about the ignorant behavior I received. Your great as a doctor, but I couldn't understand why a dentist doest perform fillings?
